Animal Farm
Book Circle Final Project
Directions:
Choose one of the following items to complete as a group.
You will all need to participate equally in the project to
achieve full credit. This
project will be presented to the class on Tuesday, October 6th.
Your presentation to the class should take no fewer than five and
no more than eight minutes.
All group members must participate equally in the presentation.
The entire group will be given one grade for the project; however
individual grades will be given for the creation of the project.
Choices:
1.
Create
a website based on your novel.
The website must be interactive and must include the elements of
plot, setting, character, symbol, and theme.
It should demonstrate that you read the novel and understood the
author’s purpose in writing.
2.
Create
a mural or other artistic representation of your novel.
The art work must be quality and must include the elements of
plot, setting, character, symbol, and theme.
It should demonstrate that you read the novel and understood the
author’s purpose in writing.
3.
Compile a scrapbook that the main character might have kept.
The scrapbook must include a caption for each item included and
must include the elements of plot, setting, character, symbol, and
theme. It should
demonstrate that you read the novel and understood the author’s purpose
in writing.
4.
Write
and perform a drama based on your novel.
You may choose to act live in class, or to video tape the
performance ahead of time.
Your drama must include the elements of plot, setting, character,
symbol, and theme. It
should demonstrate that you read the novel and understood the author’s
purpose in writing.
5.
Design
a music video based on your novel.
This video may use original songs, or songs that have been
written by others, but that fit your novel.
Your video must include music and images and must include the
elements of plot, setting, character, symbol, and theme.
It should demonstrate that you read the novel and understood the
author’s purpose in writing.
6.
Write
and perform a musical piece about your novel.
The piece must be performed live in class and must include the
elements of plot, setting, character, symbol, and theme.
It should demonstrate that you read the novel and understood the
author’s purpose in writing.
7.
Alternate activity of your choice which you must okay with me.
