Unit B Project - Great Depression and the New Deal

Your project for this Unite will de due on Friday, October 23rd. You may have some time today to work on it plus two additional times in the media center between now and the 23rd. No additional time will be given in the Media Center, unless you are absent from school. This project, it is to be done on your own. You will look at the Great Depression and the New Deal and compare and contrast to our most recent economic state, A.I.G. Bail-out.

A. For the Great Depression and the New Deal, I want you to use a conflict model and place the following in the Model. Pick five of the tems you placed on the model and defend why you pout them there.

  2. What was the world impact after each?

  3. How are the events the same"

  4. How are they different"

  5. What do you understand abouty each (1/2 page for each)

  6. What questions do you still have about either?

  7. What are you struggling to understand?

  8. Name five long range effects of the Great Depression and five for the New Deal.

  9. Name five potential long range effects for the bail-out.

  10. Based on reserach you do in the Media Center, give your personal opinion on what happenedd for us to have to bail out the finanical industry.
