School starts at 7:45 a.m. Dismiss at 2:50 p.m.Drop Off/Pick Up
Preschool & GSRP will drop off and pick up in front of the elementary building.
K-4 students will use the back parking lot drive thru between the Middle School and Elementary as a morning drop off starting at 7:35 a.m.
K-4 parents will need to use our pick up loop. Please have your numbers ready and we will bring your student to you at 2:50 p.m.
Please do not drop off your students prior to these times. Please avoid picking up your students early. Early pickups do go on their attendance records.
Any end-of-the-day changes must be submitted to the office by 2:00 p.m
Bus Passes will not be allowed.

Visitors and Volunteers
Any person who is not a DKES preschool to 4th grade student or a current DKES staff member is considered a visitor. Since visitors will be in the presence of our students and have an interaction of any kind, are thus considered a volunteer. For safety and security reasons, all visitor/volunteers must enter our building through the main office. An annual background check is required for all visitors/volunteers. For are available in all 3 building offices and is stored in a district wide database. A minimum of 2 weeks is needed to process these. Forms are available every year in August, continuing throughout the school year.Parents, grandparents, and community members are encouraged to volunteer for our school when possible. And help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Contact your student's teacher to see if they could use your help and get scheduled to come in. All visitors/volunteers MUST be scheduled to come in. No drop ins will be allowed.
