    Dr. Herman J. Lartigue, Jr.

    Dr. Herman J. Lartigue, Jr. grew up in Lansing and graduated from Waverly High School in 1987. After high school, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in education from Western Michigan University, his Master’s degree from Marygrove College, and a Doctorate of Education from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. Dr. Lartigue interned as a third-grade teacher at Delton Kellogg Schools under educator and mentor Don Farrell. Following his internship, he continued educating at Delton Kellogg Schools for five years.

    He and his family then moved to Texas. He continued his career as an assistant principal at Brill Elementary School in Spring, Texas, and an associate principal at Klein ISD in Spring, Texas. Dr. Lartigue was also an assistant principal at Klein Collins High School and Benignus Elementary School, totaling almost eleven and a half years as an associate principal.

    Dr. Lartigue met his wife, Marsha, in high school, and the two have been married for 28 years.  They have two children, Arianna, 21, and Herman, 17. They adopted a 15-year-old son while living in Texas, who is now 26. Outside work, Dr. Lartigue enjoys golf, watching football, and spending time with family and friends.

    Dr. Herman J. Lartigue is an incredible gift to our community.  Aside from his impressive qualifications, his dedication to making Delton Kellogg School exceptional is unmatched.
