Success Center
Tuesdays and Thursdays:  3:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Success Center is an after school tutoring program for students that need some additional support with their school work. This program is free of charge and is staffed with a certified teacher. All we ask of parents is that they provide a ride home for their children. This is a great opportunity for students to get some extra help with the skills that are needed to be successful in school.
 
Student Council
Student Council provides numerous opportunities for our students to work to help our schools and community throughout the year. Past projects have included Pennies for Patients, Joseph’s Genetic Journey and dances for fundraising.
 
Green Team
The D.K.M.S. “Green Team” is a group of students working to help the environment and the animals in it for a greener future. One of the steps our team took was adopting an endangered animal. Thanks to the students' donations, and Mrs. Tyner; our team was able to adopt the Aye Aye lemur. Click this link to learn more about the animal.

Did you know the state of Michigan offers a free program to stop adult advertisements from reaching certain emails, mobile phones (text messaging ads) and instant messenger IDs?  The Michigan Child Protection Registry is a free do-not contact service for Michigan’s families and schools and can be located at protectmichild.com.
