• The weekly antigen testing for Student-Athletes at Delton Kellogg High School will now be moved to Monday mornings before school for the remainder of the school year. Last week's first attempt went very well and the amount of disruption was minimal.

We will continue to ask for those kids that can drive, or those kids that have parents that can drop them off early, the doors will be open at 7:15 am at the main office entrance doors, on Monday, May 17th,  and we are encouraging as many student-athletes as possible to show between the times of 7:15 and 7:30 am to help us avoid kids missing time at the start of their 1st-hour class. And please drop your student-athlete off in the Aux Gym parking lot and have them walk up the sidewalk into the main office. We need to keep the upper parking lot open for bus traffic when they arrive at school.

Kids being tested will have the opportunity to get their free breakfast in the cafeteria while they wait for their results from the test.

Please keep in mind that those kids that have tested positive and have served their quarantine period, and have supplied the Athletic Office with documentation, no longer have to antigen test weekly for 90 days after their quarantine. Those kids that have been vaccinated, and have provided the Athletic Office with a copy of their immunization card, no longer have to weekly antigen test once their 14-day post-shot period is complete.

Those that have had to quarantine for contact tracing, for any length of time, still have to be tested weekly per protocols.

As we wind our Spring seasons down, we wanted to share a special shout out to all parents and student-athletes that have done such an awesome job of adjusting schedules, following the protocols that have been handed down and supporting the Athletic Department, our coaches, and student-athletes during this time that we have all had to experience. Because of your efforts, our kids have had the opportunity to compete throughout this Athletic year as well as gain immeasurable life lessons that, hopefully, they will look back on as a positive experience gained with classmates, teammates, and coaches.

Thanks, as always, and Go Panthers!!

  • This is a message from the Athletic Department at Delton Kellogg Schools regarding sports physical information.

Each Spring, we have been fortunate enough to have the local doctor's office provide a Physical Day at DK in the Spring for sports physicals for the upcoming sports seasons.

However, that will no longer be an option starting with the Spring of 2021.

I have included information shared with us by our local doctor's office (Ascension Borgess Hospital Family Medicine Delton) regarding scheduling for sports physicals anytime between now and the end of the 2020-21 school year. MHSAA Physical forms can be found on the Athletic Webpage of the school's website. Obviously, you are more than able to utilize your own family physician but we encourage you to get your student athlete's physical scheduled as soon as possible.  As a reminder, all student-athletes MUST have an updated/current physical on file with the Athletic Office in order to compete in any practices/games during the 2021-22 athletic seasons. Any physical dated after April 15, 2021, are good for the 2021-22 athletic seasons.

Sports Physicals can be completed at our office during the hours below, usually, same-day appointments are available. If there's an additional need we may be able to accommodate with notice,  please call me directly.

The Sports Physicals are $30 and payment is due at the time of service.

We encourage all parents/guardians to schedule an Annual Well Child Exam if their child is due and we can complete the Sports Physical during the Well Child exam.

    Our Office Hours:

    Monday: 7:00am-7:00pm

    Tuesday: 7:00am-7:00pm

    Wednesday: 7:00am-5:30pm

    Thursday: 7:00am-5:30pm

Please advise parents to call to schedule an appointment at 269-623-5521.

If you have any questions, please contact the Athletic Office at 269 623-1524. Thanks and Go Panthers!!
