Last night's Conference Track and Field Meet at Constantine HS saw some results that have a handful of our Panthers earning post-season honors.
On the girls' side of the ledger, Josie Williams finished with a 2nd place finish in the long jump for First Team All-Conference honors. Breanna Chandler finished in 4th place in the 300 M Hurdles for Honorable Mention All-Conference Honors and Summer Ritchie earned a 4th place finish in the 400 meters for an Honorable Mention All-Conference nod.
The boys' team concluded the regular season with a 4th place finish out of 18 teams in the SAC Conference Championships. Individual honors saw Torren Mapes being the Conference Champ in the 110 and 300 M Hurdles and Rhys Bedford earned All-Conference Honors as well with his 2nd place finish in the 110 M Hurdles.
Also earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors were Wyatt Finney with his 3rd place finish in the long jump and Jason Lundquist with his 4th place finish in the discus.
The next meet for our boys will be the MHSAA State Meet in Kent City on Saturday, June 3rd with Torren Mapes (110 and 300 m Hurdles), Rhys Bedford (110 m Hurdles), Wyatt Finney (Long Jump) and Jason Lundquist (Discus) competing.
