Hello DKS Families,
It really was great to see our Panthers back at school today! Hopefully, we will be able to get back into a routine soon. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused by the bus transportation delays due to the road conditions and our switch to “paved roads only”. The safety of our students is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding during these weather-related challenges. We do anticipate having to utilize more “paved road only” days coming up. So, if you are not sure where your drop off/pick up location is, please contact the bus garage. 269-623-1515.
We will be on a “paved road only” schedule for AM and PM routes on Thursday, January 25th. If there is a need for a “delay” or “school cancellation” for any reason that decision will be made in the morning. For now, please plan for Thursday AM/PM to be “paved roads only”

Did you know the Detroit Lions and the United Way were founded in 1934?! Because of this, the Barry County United Way is doing a Lions fundraiser to celebrate this incredible season! With a goal of $1,934 (get it, 1934!), the proceeds will go to Youth Football Programs across Barry County. This is HUGE, especially for our new Middle School football team! Please consider participating, I know I am in! LET'S GO LIONS!

Aubrey Yarger, DKMS 8th grader, competed against Harper Creek MS & Battle Creek Central Middle School this past week in her 2nd middle school swim/dive meet governed under the MHSAA. In her 6-dive meet, Aubrey scored 263.85 breaking both the boys' and girls' high school records. Aubrey has already attained qualifying scores for the middle school state meet this season.

Members of the Michigan Army National Guard took over the PE classes at the HS yesterday.
The High School is getting in the Holiday spirit with dress-up next week.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Delton Ski Club, a fantastic opportunity for individuals aged seven and up, including adults, to come together for a winter filled with fun and adventure!
