
Girls MHSAA Basketball District info is as follows:
DK will be playing tonight, Monday, March 4th, at Kalamazoo Christian HS vs Galesburg Augusta with a tip-off of 7:00 pm. The winner will move on to the District Semifinals on Wednesday, March 6th vs Kalamazoo Christian. The winner of that semifinal will take on the winner of the Kalamazoo Hackett/Comstock semifinal from the other side of the bracket. on Friday, March 8th at 7:00 pm.
As with all State Tournament contests, tickets can be purchased using the GoFan ticket site or a card reader will be available at the ticket table. All tickets will be $7.00.

What a night at Bloomingdale this past Friday, March 1st!!
Congrats to our Boys Varsity Basketball team for bringing home the District Championship Trophy for the first time in 40 years!! An incredible back-and-forth contest, all the way to the very end with the last shot by Saugatuck rolling off the front of the rim. Final score, DK 37-Saugatuck 36!!
The win sends our Panthers on to the Regional Tournament held at Pewamo-Westphalia Community Schools located at 5101 S. Clintonia Rd, Westphalia, MI 48894, on Tuesday, March 5th with a 5:30 tip vs. Grand Rapids Covenant Christian. The winner of that Regional semifinal will be pitted against the winner of the North Muskegon/Pewamo-Westphalia semifinal game from the other side of the bracket on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 pm, also at Pewamo-Westphalia HS.

Congratulations to the DKHS Band for their award-winning performance at the MSBOA Band Festival in Hastings on February 27. They earned all 1's for their performance.



DKHS has talent. Mrs. Hatton's Drawing & Painting students showcased their creativity and designed custom hoodies. The money for materials & hoodies was provided by a grant through the DKEF Classroom Grant Program.




Follies 2024

Delton Juniors and Seniors attended the Barry County Career Fair at Hastings High School on Friday, February 23. Students rotated through 5 stations to explore different career pathways and met with employers, college recruiters, and business owners. Some made initial contacts for summer employment and possible paid internships at places like Flexfab, Hastings Manufacturing, Barry County YMCA, and Corewell Health.

Elianna Osborne, a student at DKES, was diagnosed with a rare neuro-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome (AS) at the age of 8 months old.

The Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams take on the Saugatuck Trailblazers on Friday, February 16. We will be honoring our Senior Boys Basketball players before the start of their pregame warmup. The High School Student section theme will be Red, White, & Blue. Tip-off for the girls will be at 6 pm. Let's pack the stands, show our support, and make this night unforgettable for our Senior Boys!


On Friday, February 23, DKHS will be taking ALL Juniors and Seniors on a bus to the Barry County CareerFest 2024 at Hastings High School. This all-day event will focus on a wide variety of career choices found in Barry County and allow high school-aged children from public and private schools to interact with area businesses and post-secondary educational institutions in pursuit of a possible career pathway.
The Career Fest will focus on a multitude of career choices such as Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Construction, Health & Human Services, Medical, Natural Resources, Agriculture, Horticulture, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Insurance, and Mechanics. We will depart DKHS at 10 am and return around 1 pm. This is an "opt-out" event. If you do not want your student to attend, please call the High School Office.

Join the fun on Friday, February 16, as the DK Youth basketball players are recognized during the Varsity games!

DK, fresh off their District Championship win last week at Bellevue HS, will be headed to Mendon High School on Wednesday, February 14th, for a Regional semifinal match-up with Springport High School, with the winner moving on to the Regional Finals vs Mendon/Bronson winner from the other side of the bracket.

Congratulations on DK's latest District Championship, brought home by our DK Varsity Wrestling Team from Bellevue last night!!
The team defeated Maple Valley in the semis and then brought home the hardware with a resounding victory over Saranac High School in the finals. A great night for our DK Panthers!!
Congrats to Coach Phillips, Coach Post, Coach Belew, and a great group of student-athletes. The Panthers will move on to Team Regionals next week. That info will be shared as we know more in the coming days.

DK Wrestling Fans!!
The State Tournament has arrived and our grapplers will be heading to Team Districts at Bellevue High School on Thursday, February 8th with action starting at 6:00 pm. DK will face off against Maple Valley. The winner of that semifinal match will compete in the Finals against the winner of the Bellevue/Saranac semifinal. The Finals will take place after the semifinal matches are complete.
Individual Districts will be held on Saturday, February 10th at Bronson High School with wrestling beginning at 9:30 am.

DKHS will be conducting NWEA testing Tuesday and Wednesday morning this week. The testing will occur between 7:55am - 9:45am. This testing is only for grades 9-11. Seniors are asked to report on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:50am (they are excused from testing). We also ask that all students grades 9-11 bring a CHARGED Chromebook with them for testing. Thank you.
