
Delton Kellogg School is looking for two students to help with summer cleanup around the school. The students earn $12 per hour and work up to 8 hours daily.

Congratulations to Rhys Bedford, DKHS Class of 2024, for earning Div. 3 All-State honors for
a 7th-place finish in the 110m hurdles. This athletic performance combined with his
GPA will also earn Academic All-State honors for Rhys!

DKVB Little Cubs Camp - June 10, 11, & 12 from 1-3:00 pm in the High School Gym for girls going into 3rd -9th grades. $40.00 with t-shirt included if paid before June 6th.
DK Boys and Girls Youth Soccer Camp - June 10, 11, 12 from 9-11:00 am at the DKHS Football/Soccer Stadium for kids entering 1st grade - 8th grade. $40.00 with a t-shirt if paid before June 6th.
DK Boys Hoop Camp - June 4, 5, 6 from noon to 2:00 pm in the HS gym for boys entering 3rd through the 8th grade. $35.00 with a t-shirt.
DK Girls Hoop Camp - June 17-19 from 9 -11:00 am in the HS Gymnasium for girls entering the 3rd through the 8th grade. $35.00 with a t-shirt.

Athletic Sports Physicals are being offered, FREE OF CHARGE, AT Martin High School's main gym on Thursday, May 30th from 4-6 pm for any student-athlete that is planning on participating in any MHSAA sponsored athletic team at Delton Kellogg HS or MS. This will cover your student-athlete for the entire 2024-25 school year.
This a great opportunity to get set for 2024-25. MHSAA Physical Forms can be found on DK's Athletic webpage, or they can be picked up in any of the District's offices.

Delton Kellogg freshman, Nathan Mosqueda, competed in the Special Olympics Track & Field Meet on May 4 and had quite a successful day.
He placed in the following events:
2nd in the 100 M Dash
3rd in the 50 M Dash
4th in the softball throw

District Soccer Update from last night's soccer action at Hopkins HS.
DK defeated Parchment by the score of 5-0 to advance to the District semifinals on Wednesday, May 29th, with competition starting at 4:30, vs GR South Christian. The winner of that match will advance to the District Finals on Friday, May 31st with a start time of 6:00 pm. All games will be played at Hopkins High School.

DK Girls Track finished the season 3-2 in the SAC Central Division and 10th place out of 18 schools for the SAC Championship meet.

The DK Boys Track team concluded the regular season Tuesday with a 3 rd place finish at
the 18-team SAC Championship.
DK also broke the tie for 1 st place and remains undefeated in the Central Division after
defeating Saugatuck by a score of 78 to 49 for a second consecutive Divisional
Championship!
Earning All-Conference Honors:
Torren Mapes – Conference Champ in both the 110 & 300-meter hurdles and setting a
new school record in the 300 hurdles (39.85 seconds)

Rhys Bedford – 2nd place in 110 hurdles
Hugo Martino - 2nd place in High Jump

We had an unfortunate scheduling issue with our opponents for DK's last home soccer match Monday night which was to have been Senior Night for some awesome young ladies playing for the last time on their home turf.
The match was canceled along with the Senior Night Celebration.
We'd like to take a moment and honor those Panthers, along with their parents, who were not given the chance to enjoy that experience.
